NOTE: This is a Work-in-Progress ... WATCH THIS SPACE!
A QUICK WORD David Streeten
Hi folks - sorry for the - TWO YEAR delay revamping this site, I've got every excuse under the sun, but hey, It's been a busy time...
The site is FAR from finished, but I decided to go live in its current state and will treat it as an on-going project, while at the same sharing it with you. It really is a case of WATCH THIS SPACE - things will be added to and updated on a regular basis from now on.
I'd also like to express my sadness re the recent passing of DavidEarl Brown, Tommy's Guitar tech and friend. I never met Dave, but we talked quite a bit on the phone and always had a laugh. I did a video late last year of Deep Purple in Auckland, New Zealand, November 1975 and Dave recalled a hilarious story how he was kicked off the tour by the Purple people for a no show one day, having met two sisters and had an intimate night with them at their parents house - he recomended ‘Kiwi’ hospitality BIG TIME! :) Dave was talking about a potential book project, but as I told him, I could never understand his ‘abbreviated’ language when emailing and messaging. Dave will be missed by many... RIP
Like I said, I do APOLOGIZE for the absence of the site for the past year, but I do hope that the new site will make amends...
Also a special thanks to all who have helped us over the years, John, Andrew T, Pascal, Mariko, DE B, Alphonse, Lynn, Narada, Jeff, Leland, Stan, David G, Gregg, Alisa, Sal, Simon ... The list is huge... THANKS HEAPS!!!!!!!!!
